● Program Overview
What You’ll Learn
Join us for a guided botanical walk through Kew Gardens, where you'll learn to identify seasonal flowers while exploring their ecological, historical and cultural significance. Through observation, sketching and conversation, you'll leave with a deeper understanding of the plants around you and greater confidence recognising them beyond the garden.
Program Structure
Together we'll explore Kew Gardens at a relaxed pace, stopping to observe seasonal blooms, learn about the plants we encounter and take time for sketching and reflection. The session balances botanical learning with creative practice, making space to slow down, ask questions and connect with nature in community. The guided tours run at 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM.
What’s Included
Your ticket includes guided entry through Kew Gardens, a curated botanical walk led by The Sticks, sketching materials, creative prompts and a seasonal plant guide to take home. No previous botanical knowledge or artistic experience is needed—just curiosity and comfortable walking shoes.
Session Lengths
We'll meet at Kew Gardens before setting off on a slow, self-guided walk through some of the gardens' most beautiful seasonal displays. Along the way we'll pause to sketch, discuss the plants we encounter and explore how observation can become a creative practice. The session finishes with time to reflect, share and connect over our findings.
Who Is It For?
Kew Gardens already offers excellent guided walks, but cost can still be a barrier to visiting. Through our partnership, we're able to offer this experience at half the usual price, making one of the world's leading botanical collections more accessible to our community. We also keep groups small, creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable learning and connecting.
